Environmental responsibility is an integral part of the way we manage our operations. We seek to minimise our environmental impact through the efficient use of energy and resources, responsible waste management and the continuous assessment of opportunities for improvement throughout our operations and value chain.
Our areas of action
Energy and energy efficiency
We seek to reduce energy consumption across our facilities and improve the efficiency of the equipment we use. Measures implemented include:
- A self-consumption photovoltaic system with 66 installed modules;
- A 15 kVA photovoltaic system;
- Replacement of fluorescent lighting with LED technology;
- An estimated 12,480 W reduction in installed power resulting from the transition to LED lighting;
- LED lighting and energy-saving systems in our new facilities;
- Selection of equipment with energy-efficient operating modes.
Waste management and circular economy
Responsible waste and packaging management is one of the priority areas of our environmental approach. We promote:
- Appropriate management of waste generated by our activities;
- Membership of Sociedade Ponto Verde since 2012;
- Compliance with applicable requirements for electrical and electronic equipment, batteries and accumulators;
- Reuse of cardboard packaging whenever possible;
- Reduction in the use of packaging materials;
- Application of circular economy principles to resource and waste management.
Responsible use of resources
We seek to use resources efficiently and reduce unnecessary consumption throughout our operations. Measures adopted include water-saving systems, the reuse of packaging materials and the selection of energy-efficient equipment.

We are registered with the environmental systems applicable to our activities and monitor the corresponding legal and regulatory obligations.vThrough our Integrated Management System, we monitor our environmental performance, involve our team in improvement processes and continuously identify opportunities to reduce the impacts associated with our operations and value chain.
